We try our hardest to ensure your books are packed to protect them on their journey to you.
In the event you need or want to return a book or books to us, please use the contact form in the first instance giving details of your return request. We will review the details and may ask you to provide further details such as photos to help us clarify any items you wish to return in the instance of damage.
DAMAGES
If an item arrives and has been damaged in transit please contact us using the contact form. Please ensure you keep all packaging and take photos of both how the parcel was delivered to you i.e. the condition of the packaging on arrival, and of the damage to the item.
Please return the damaged item to us together with its packaging. Please also provide proof of the cost of returning the item(s). We will Inspect rhe returned item(s) and packaging and reimburse the full cost of your purchase together with your return postage costs. Where an item has arrived damaged in transit we will liaise with our courier and pursue a claim with them. You will not be entitled to any compensation we receive from the courier.
If the packaging is complete but you receive a damaged item you will need to return the item(s) to us for inspection. You must ensure the item(s) are packaged suitably to arrive with us in the same condition you received them. Once we have inspected them we will either:
a) refund the full cost of the item including return postage
b) send out a replacement product
c) issue a gift certificate to the full value of the item including your return postage costs
d) contact you to discuss the matter further or seek further clarification of the issue.
STANDARD RETURNS
Should you decide you no longer want any item(s) from your order you will need to contact us using our contact form. All returns of this type must fall within the 14 days cooling off period.
If we agree the return you should send the item(s) to us suitably packaged to avoid any damage in transit. Any items must be returned to us in a condition that allows us to put them back into stock for resale. We will inspect the item(s) and should we consider they are in ‘as new’ condition we will either:
a) issue a refund for the purchase price of the item(s) together with a proportion of the delivery charge
b) issue a gift certificate for the purchase price of the item(s) together with a proportion of the delivery charge.
We will not refund your return postage costs.
Should we consider the item(s) does not meet the “as new” condition you will not be entitled to a refund of either the cost of the good or the postage costs, nor will we reimburse you for the return postage costs.
Nothing in this statement affects your statutory consumer rights.
